GROW BERLIN GREEN COMMUNITY CLEAN UP AND BARBEQUE

Berlin, Maryland – November 6 -- Grow Berlin Green (GBG), the campaign to promote conservation and environmental protection in the Town of Berlin is holding a community clean-up event on Saturday, November 14,  at 10:00 a.m.

The plan is for residents to meet in the Pavilion at Stephen Decatur Park and form teams of volunteers to pick up trash in neighborhoods and remove invasive plants from the park.  GBG representatives will be on hand to provide bags, clean-up tools and a truck to haul the trash away.

Come by yourself or bring a team of friends / family and volunteers for two hours of your time to pick up trash and remove pesky plants. GBG will assign places or if you would like to clean up your neighborhood, let us know where you will be so we can come collect your haul!  GBG is looking forward to seeing what we can accomplish in two hours! And we’ll even feed you lunch afterwards!

Berlin residents interested in leading or participating in a neighborhood team for the Community Clean-Up event should contact Steve Farr at 410-629-1538 or growberlingreen@hotmail.com.
